New Patient You are possibly about to begin your orthodontic adventure. WE are always happy to accept new patients.
Before your first appointment please fill out our online health history from. Your first appointment is the initial consultation. At this appointment we do a general overview of your teeth, your bite, your smile, and get from you what you like or don’t like about your teeth. We tell you what we think treatment may entail. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have at this point about your future treatment. You also will receive a financial worksheet giving you information about what your financial obligations will be for treatment. It is important that we have your most current insurance information prior to this appointment to insure accuracy of all information that you receive. If you are ready for treatment your next appointment is for orthodontic records.
Orthodontic Records If you are ready for braces the second appointment is a fact gathering records appointment. This appointment takes approximately 45 minutes. We take a series of x-rays, which gives us a comprehensive view of the way your teeth grew in or are growing. We are also able determine how much in harmony your teeth are with the bone structure of your jaw. We will also take impressions of you teeth so that plaster molds can be made, finishing with photographs of you and your teeth. Most patients will also get spacers placed at this appointment. Spacers, also called separators, are placed inbetween your back teeth to get them ready for braces, which are put on at your next appointment.
